Epson HC-1080 $ 2,995.00 LCD, 1200 ANSI Lumens, 13lbs
Bruce says - Great value for the buck! This baby has a 1080VB version which is 30% brighter if you have an extra $2k......

Epson HC-400 $ 1,195.00 LCD, 1500 ANSI Lumens, 12lbs

Bruce says - you want cheap - this baby can't be beat!

Bruce didn't reccommed any DLP projectors because he's one of the 5% of Americas who sees DLP artifacts and thus isn'tsold on the technology for home theatre....but there are a few he like for corporate presentation applications. FYI - Bruce also likes the better color saturation of LCD over DLP and will happily take better color over higher contrast ratio. (For all you tech-o geeks)

Plasma & LCD:

Bruce says - I have both at home and I like em' both; LCD's last longer and cost more, Plasma's cheaper and last 5 years or less. That said, Samsung and LG make good stuff if you're willing to pay a little more than say a bargin brand like Vizio or Olivia. Buy your home LCD and Plasma from Walmart or Sam's cause the stuff I sell may be high-end but it's the best and I think once you see what we sell - you'll agree. How's that for brutal honesty?
