AVM Platinum Plus is an enhanced service program that brings users prioritized service and support; benefits include hot swap, annual maintenance, tech support, service loaner, and trade-in/upgrade options.
Customers are eligible for AVM’s quick replacement program; AVW will send a projector of equal or higher quality overnight to replace any malfunctioning projector with problems that cannot be resolved by technical support. This service program is only valid so long as the general warranty of the projector is current and all terms as well as conditions of the original warranty remain in effect.
Customers may have one free annual maintenance service for each projector registered; users should call AVM to schedule maintenance in advance. Maintenance shall include inspection of cooling fans, filter exchange, cleaning of optical components, alignment adjustments, any necessary upgrade, and a complete general cleaning; lamps or parts are not covered. Customer and AVM will each take responsibility for shipping one way.
Customers are provided top-priority technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no charge and toll-free via our 800#.
If a customer wishes to have uninterrupted service, AVM will provide a loaner for the customer while their original unit is in for repair; once the unit is repaired, AVM will send the original unit back to the customer. In order to receive the replacement promptly, customers should telephone AVM technical support before 11:30am, central time, Monday thru Friday. All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure product delivery the next day. This limited warranty service is extended by AVM to the original purchaser of the projector only and is not transferable and this program is only available in the USA.
Customers enjoy specials on accessories such as lamps and cases, and trade-in specials where they can upgrade their old or out-dated projector to a new model at reduced rates.
The annual service charge for each projector will be $449.00 and AVM reserves the right to refuse to offer this service for any particular device, individual or organization. Customer shall provide AVM with the model and serial numbers for each projector.
This program shall be effective for one year beginning from the date the customer’s payment is received and approved. Customer has the choice to extend this program and the life of the warranty for the projectors covered by this program shall remain the same in the case of any replacement projector. This program shall be construed and endorsed in accordance with and shall be governed by the substantive and procedural laws of Jefferson Parish in the State of Louisiana. All disputes and controversies concerning the interpretation or enforcement of the program shall be submitted to binding arbitration conducted by the American Association in accordance with its commercial arbitration rules.
